This post will be in the form of a test – I’d like to see just how quickly I can rank for the phrase ‘How to Make Money Online With Clickbank Products’. For those of you who are familiar with article marketing, you’ll note that I use the keyword phrase that I’m trying to ‘rank’ for in the title, the first paragraph, and the last paragraph. This particular phrase was mentioned at the Warrior forum, and it gave me the idea to see just how long it takes to land on the first page of Google for a long-tail keyword phrase such as this one.

I must confess, this idea has slowly wrapped itself around my brain – and I should have paid attention much earlier… but if you want to make money on the Internet – there’s only one single skill that you must have! With it, you can make money easily, without it, you’ll work quite hard no matter how you try to earn online.

Yes, it’s true – Google doesn’t exactly tell the truth all the time. One very good example is when you are trying to determine how competitive it will be for a particular long-tail keyword phrase… Let’s try a simple example… Go to Google, and type intitle:”affiliate marketing system” – this will tell you how many websites are specifically targeting that exact phrase by using it in a title.

I ran across an interesting idea recently, and I’ll probably be giving it a try myself… but I wanted to lay it out here first. As everyone knows, Affiliate products (and Adsense) are my methods of choice for making extra money online. While money is made with Clickbank products, people still have to actually purchase the product before you make any money. This is the CPS, “Cost Per Sale” method.

You don’t need your own product in order to make money on the Internet – there are many people who would be happy if you sold their product, and will pay you as much as 75% or more of the selling price to do so.

Affiliate sales are basically advertising – you provide the advertising for someone else – and each time you make a sale, they’ll pay you. For example, I have a website that specializes in Judo Book Reviews, and if you wish to buy one of the books I review – you can click on the link provided, and purchase it from Amazon – who will be happy to share a small percentage of the selling price with me. Amazon is happy, they just made a sale they otherwise might not have made… I’m happy, particularly when I deposit my check from Amazon – and the website visitor is happy – because he got a good Judo book based on my review of it. So it’s a win-win situation for everyone.

Clickbank is one of the most profitable sites you can be a member of – and membership is absolutely free! There are thousands of information product owners that will pay you up to 75% of the net profit if you’ll simply send people to their website and they purchase the product.
