Auction Listing Titles - The Key to Success!

The title of your Ebay auction is perhaps the most critical area for a perfect Ebay listing. I've written an ebook on how to sell Vintage Postcards, and I'm reposting the section on titles here. If you don't know how to code in HTML, you're going to be at a disadvantage when it comes to putting up a really good auction listing - Ebay's auction listings are nothing more than simple HTML - but don't fear, even if you can't code in HTML, you can start with a good template and be in the game.  The number one method to chase away buyers is to have an ugly and unprofessional auction listing.

One idea that a friend of mine is doing quite well at is selling 8x10 prints.  You can get them at Costco for about $1.60, or in my friend's case, he found a local print supplier that he pays $1.15 per print.

He sells on Ebay - and the 8x10's go for about $5-6 dollars, plus shipping.  If I recall correctly, he said that postage was $1.52, and the cardboard mailer was another quarter.

If you aren't already an Ebay member - you're missing out on one of the largest markets in the world.  Almost anything you can imagine is for sale on Ebay, and the prices can be lower than you've seen anywhere else.

For sellers - it's a tremendous opportunity to put your items in front of eager buyers who are actively searching for what you have to offer.  Where else can you find such an opportunity to put your goods in front of a world-wide audience of buyers?
