PotPieGirl - what a fantastic 'trademark'!  Makes everyone want to know how she came up with such a name! I've recently added a feed from her website to BurningKnife - as I'm quite impressed with her friendliness and the really great information she provides for free.

PotPieGirl has come up with a really good quote - perhaps someday I can think of something equally inspiring... she says:

If you're willing to do for a year what others won't, you can do for a lifetime what others CAN'T!

I just love this quote - it's inspirational, and tells you what you need to do in order to succeed in the business of earning extra money online.  Are you willing to spend a year of your life working on your website[s]?  If not, then don't even bother wasting your time getting started. PotPieGirl makes it crystal clear that you need to have patience - a consistent theme that I pound as well...

One interesting idea that I've picked up from PotPieGirl is the concept of using the free websites available, such as Squidoo (her favorite), Hubpages, Wordpress, & Blogger to help you in your money making plans.  They can be used either as a landing page for your affiliate product reviews, or as another link to your website.  I'm starting to use 'em in both capacities - I suspect that it can't hurt my backlinks to have authority sites such as these linking back to BurningKnife.

Creating a Squidoo page can, once you get used to the procedure, be the work of an hour or so. This makes it possible to crank out many keyword rich and targeted affiliate landing pages, or links to your site...
