Is This A Scam? Or The Real Deal?

Okay, I admit, I’ve been rather wary of Pay Per Click as a method of making money… Many people jump in, and discover that they lose money to Google for campaigns that they don’t know how to set up properly.  This can be very frustrating for beginners – and I still believe that this is not an area where beginners should concentrate their efforts.  However, if you have a minimum amount of experience creating and setting up a website – this is definitely a place to earn a great deal of money almost automatically…

Clickbank Code ReviewClickbank Code consists of 28 videos, over 5 hours of instruction in how to use Google Adwords to drive traffic to the affiliate product of your choice. The videos themselves are somewhat simplistic, being merely illustrative diagrams for the most part – I would rather have seen a more personal, up close view of Michael Jones, the author, actually sitting at his computer as he does things – but the videos do at least, show you screen shots of the Adwords campaigns themselves, as well as the free tools you’ll be using.

The most impressive thing about this product is the Excel spreadsheet that comes with it – it allows you to imput the keywords you’ve selected at Google – the traffic figures that Google provides, as well as the projected cost of each click – the spreadsheet will then use these numbers to calculate what sort of profit or loss you’ll have before you ever spend a dime.

Of course, nobody knows how effective your landing page is at producing sales, so the spreadsheet uses industry averages to make it’s calculation – you can start with a 1% sell through rate, and a 3% refund rate – and if your landing page is half-way decent, you’ll have a very good idea whether you should even spend any time at all on that particular niche.

If you don’t own Excel, you can also run this spreadsheet with the free ‘Open Office’ Excel compatible spreadsheet, available as a free download. So you don’t have to own the Microsoft Excel in order to make use of this spreadsheet – this is great news, since in my estimation, the spreadsheet alone is nearly worth the price of this entire course.

This has always been one of the downfalls of PPC marketing – you spend a great deal of time upfront creating your landing pages, and then you find out that you’ve produced a losing campaign.  Michael’s Excel spreadsheet largely eliminates that problem, making a winning campaign highly likely your first time out the gate.

There are several surprises in store here… Michael only recommends a dozen or so keywords – he’s not a fan of running campaigns with hundreds or thousands of keywords.  It’s clear that the goal is to drive your Quality Score through the roof, so that you can make money with cheap clicks – Michael goes into detail on the 16 necessities you must have on your landing page to get the highest Quality Score.  When Google gives you the highest Quality Score, that translates directly into a higher position, and a lower cost per click.  One of the tricks you’ll learn is what position on a search page you should be aiming for… it’s not the one you’d think!

The nice thing I like about this series is that it’s clear that Michael really does know what he’s doing – and can help you be successful. I really think that if you follow through on the ‘action steps’ he shows you, that you’ll soon have a great income. He starts off by giving you a list of things to look for in an affiliate product – if you choose the wrong product, you’ll lose money – it’s just that simple.

This Is Where Most Affiliate Marketers Go Wrong – Initial Product Selection!

Michael starts by showing you the two things that a good product must have in order for you to select it, and since BurningKnife is a blog about making money, I’m going to spill the beans – affiliate products that have the chance to make you a great deal of money have high gravity, and have a net income to you of more than $30. Michael goes into much greater detail, of course, but he makes sense.

What I don’t like about Michael’s product is several ‘holes’ I see … although he mentions the critical importance of tracking keywords, he seems to neglect going into detail on how to do this. Fortunately, there are many excellent keyword tracking scripts available online, and you should definitely start your campaign correctly with keyword tracking.

This is important because you will almost certainly discover that some keywords will result in sales, and other keywords, although they drive the same amount of traffic, don’t result in any sales. By getting rid of the non-producing keywords, you can turn a losing campaign, or a marginal campaign, into a great one… earning you the magic number of $100 a day or more!

The other ‘hole’ I see in Michael’s product is not enough emphasis on how to create the landing page – I would have liked to see a walk-through where I could watch him creating a landing page from scratch. This is one of the more critical areas for PPC campaigns, if you cannot create an effective landing page, you will lose money. So if you aren’t knowledgeable enough to put up your own website, don’t even think about buying Michael’s Clickbank Code, it will be a waste of your money.

But if you already have a website, or know how to quickly put one up – and have the knowledge to put up a PHP adtracking script, then this product will help you make a great deal of money in the near future.

This product has changed my mind about PPC marketing – and although I’m still quite convinced that this is not for beginners – if you have a few hundred dollars to get started, and the knowledge of how to put up a landing page, this can be profitable beyond your wildest dreams… Click Here to Learn More!
